These are our collection of 'useful' internet links. Are they useful? Not really. Are they worth looking at? Probably not. Then, why are they here?

Well, for that, ultimately, I blame google. Y'see, the internet today is all about links. As far as google is concerned, anyway. As they seem to see it, if ya don't got links, ya don't exist. Or, more correctly, you're not worth their while.

So everyone gets links. Or everyone who wants to rank in the google search results, anyway. Google sez the more links pointing to your site, the more important your site is. So people go out and get links - by any means possible.

They buy links, they swap links, they put links in blogs, and forums, and myspace pages, anywhere they can get them.

They put their links into posts on other peoples forums, and that's not really nice - that's called spamming.

But it works, they get the links, google sez their important, and there ya are. And that's why these links are here. They're not worth looking at, they don't need to be looked at. They just need to be here.
